Scott Schubiner is President of Haymakers and the company's broker of record. He has 15 years of real estate experience, working as a principal investor, developer and agent on behalf of individual and institutional clients.
Previously, he led acquisitions for Gemini Rosemont, the US investment arm of Gemini Investments, a publicly traded company on the Hong Kong stock exchange, an owner/operator of Class A office and developer of multifamily properties with $2B of AUM. As Vice President of Acquisitions at Gemini Rosemont, Scott spearheaded the company's ground-up development business in New York City, having grown the firm's pipeline from inception to $400M. Prior to his time at Gemini Rosemont, he held successively senior positions at DHA Capital, a New York City real estate firm specializing in the development of ground-up mixed-use projects.
Scott has been actively involved with the acquisition, financing, development, and sales of over $900M of commercial real estate nationwide and successfully completed dozens of emerging market transactions throughout California.
He is a licensed real estate broker in California, Florida and New York. Scott is a graduate of the University of Michigan and holds a Master's in Real Estate Finance from New York University.
